Absolutely the worst place I have ever rented. Maintenance routinely entered apartments with little to no notice, sometimes weekly just to “check things.” If you have pets and aren’t home, you’re screwed because they clearly did not care. I lived an entire year with a broken dryer and dishwasher. Maintenance would come, pretend to fix it, and leave. Nothing was ever actually repaired. The most disgusting part was the massive mouse infestation. This was not just my unit. Multiple neighbors in multiple buildings had the same issue. Management would throw down a couple traps and do nothing else. I had to spend my own money on poison and supplies, and it didn’t matter because the infestation was out of control. I want to preface that the leasing assistants have been very helpful in assisting me with this process. However, my experience with the RSC, Phatsala, has been less than pleasant. We have experienced a recurring on and off leak in the bedroom closet of our third floor apartment since 10/30/2025. Each time we're assured it's fixed and the roofers have repaired it. However, on 1/9, it started leaking heavily in our closet again. I called emergency maintenance on Saturday, and he did what he could by giving us a large bucket. However, I called yesterday afternoon (1/12) to get an update since the ticket was marked as completed despite the roofers not coming out since the weekend had just ended, and was transferred to Phatsala. This apartment is a hot mess. Constant leaks, mold, door handles falling off in the main hallways, dog parks that are not kept up with, terrible snow removal when it snows, nails coming through the ceiling from the apartment above, nails starting to pop through the floors (I guess that means our floors are starting to sink), maintenance men that aren’t really maintenance men. They have zero idea how to fix anything. They legit told me “there was a water bottle that was tipped over and leaked upstairs” when I called them when our kitchen light filled with water and fell off of the ceiling. Another time we had a leak after office hours, and the emergency maintenance man showed up drunk. We’ve had about 8 leaks total since living here. The first year was ok, but after being bought out, the service was horrible. Anytime I would hang out with friends, an employee would always stalk us and try to get us in trouble. They kept on increasing rent at a ridiculous rate every year. The worst part is that I had a leak in my ceiling living on the 3rd floor for about a year and a half and I've sent in several requests and they never got it done. The first time they attempted to do it, they didnt fix it properly and we had concerns for mold. They didnt care and it took them another few months to get them to actually fix the problem. I do not recommend moving into the addison if you have the choice.

I’ve lived here for a year and a half and have had a few issues but never felt the need to write a review. Then yesterday, my husband came home and found our cat was trapped in the wall. Maintenance had come to our apartment the day before and let us know that our washing machine was causing a leak in the apartment below us. They said they’d be here the next day and would need access to our unit again, specifically around the washing machine and that closet area it is in. This guy seemed to know what he was doing. Since we knew they were going to be in and out all day, my husband decided to go in to his office so he wouldn’t be disturbed while working. When he got home, he couldn’t find our cat anywhere, which was not unusual as he typically hides when anybody comes in who’s not one of u
