Tessera Apartments

Since the new administration took office, communication has been very stressful. First, I had to struggle to get them to acknowledge a payment made before their arrival. Furthermore, they do not have my lease agreement on file and are overcharging me. Even though I provided them with a copy, they continue to overcharge me and are claiming 'overdue debts' because I refuse to pay more than what is stated in my contract. This situation has been ongoing for over three months now.

I used to love my apartment here. Quiet, secure, safe with a management team that cared. Since the new owners took over it has been a nightmare. They got rid of an amazing management crew (and one of the BEST on site maintenance crews) for a company that turned off the online portal, got rid of all electronic payment options with less than 5 days notice, and now the website to verify insurance won't work. Notices are posted after hours so no one can ask questions until the next day. I'm incredibly disappointed that a place I've called home for years has in less than 2 weeks crashed out. Edit: They did finally get the portal up and running, along with the insurance verification portal after nearly 4 weeks. They then proceeded to post a flat $175 late fee charge to my account, saying

Parking is difficult most of the time. There are some issues with USPS not delivering here due to the offices limited hours. Office staff are very friendly though. The interstate is right beside it so always the background noise plus homeless people live in their cars on bruskrud.

Just moved in, but wonderful experience here thus far. Brenda & Danny are truly amazing and attentive. Maintenance is a breeze, and they handle requests on a timely matter and Danny goes above and beyond! Brenda was so helpful and friendly throughout the process. The apartments are spacious and large. Community is well maintained and peaceful. Love it here so far!

Horrible customer service. Been waiting 2 weeks for a refund check just to get told it is another 5 to 7 days. They dont care at all how this affects my budget. Horrible! Never rent here. Waste of time and money
