Terraces at Tanasbourne Apartments

I toured The Terraces recently and the staff was genuinely great. Maritza gave me my tour and she was super friendly, helpful, and informative! The apartments themselves, though, weren’t what I expected for the price. The interiors are decent/clean but definitely worn in, and the exterior areas look rough. Dirty cement stairs, several dented or damaged front doors, and an overall neglected feel. I went ahead with the application because the location is ideal, but their restricted dog breed list is not updated online. If you have a less common breed, keep that in mind. I ended up losing $50 on the application because of the outdated list, which was really disappointing. Overall, great staff but the property condition and inaccurate info brought the experience down for me.

She truly went the extra mile, not only showing me where all the amenities were located but also taking the time to show me the location of a specific building the apartment I was interested in was, even though it's currently under renovation and not yet ready for tours. While visiting a friend who stays at these apartments we got to talking about the overall cleanliness of the property. They mentioned that they’re eager to move due to the consistent homelessness activity day and night. Along with break ins, theft, tailgating parties in the parking lot and amenities closed or not up to date. I personally saw rats lingering outside the apartment buildings due to garbage littered all over the place. For how much they charge to stay here I’d definitely steer clear. Would give zero stars if I could.
