Tall Oaks Apartments

It is a nice apartment community in a wooded setting in niskayuna, ny but they need to fix and install more lighting in the parking lots for safety in the dark.

I am not a renter at Tall Oaks BUT y'all do not know what bad is until you live where I do at the current time. No lights really? There has not been a light outside my place for the whole time I lived here. He keeps saying he will put a light bulb up and never does. This month he says if I want a light then to put one up. Pipes were leaking in the basement. He literally put a few bandaids and tape over that. I'm not just saying that to say it. That is literally. The fire department reported him to code. He had to fix that and was held in code violation and billed. He had to replace ALL the pipes. Cost him over $5,000.00 My landlord says he can go to court and get papers to have me out in 30 days. BUT he told me he requires a 60 day notice when I gave my 30-day notice earlier at that sin

Tall Oaks is, by far, the best apartment complex in NIskayuna...and I have lived in most of them. Every new tenant at Tall Oaks gets a completely remodeled apartment.... new appliances, new kitchen cabinets, new bathroom vanities, new kitchen and bathroom floors, new carpeting. The apartments are large, and bright. All of the windows were replaced last year. The grounds are picturesque...extensive, and manicured. Best of all, the maintenance and service staff is terrific. Chris, the rental agent, is top notch, and the maintenance crew responds to requests usually the same day...which is amazing. I have been here for 30 plus years...that should speak volumes :-)

I'm impressed by the unit I'm renting effective April 27th building 3, apt 20 but like a previous reviewer says, please have lights shining on the building numbers as it will be very difficult to find building 3 in the dark! Will have to memorize this location in the day on 27th so I can find quickly at night. Great complex but poor lighting at night!

Paying almost $1100/month for a one bedroom, one bathroom apartment. There has been a toilet left by maintenance for NEARLY 11 MONTHS in our shared hallway. They've also been "painting" the hallways in our building for nearly a month. Since they've decided to change the online portal, I have to get money orders every month or pay an extra $35 to pay my rent online. I wish we had never moved here.
