Niskayuna Gardens

I am in my second year of living with at Niskayuna Gardens and it has been nothing but a nightmare. In our first year of leasing we had a mold outbreak that management handled like a joke and took over 3 months to remedy. During the remediation of the mold multiple workers sanded and removed mold without and kind of protection for our carpet or air, leaving the apartment full of mold spores. The head of maintenance also walked into our apartment after knocking twice and waiting maybe 10 seconds despite my partner yelling she was wasn't dressed. And now our upstairs neighbor has moved out and they are doing maintenance work from 7-9 am every single morning banging away and sawing well before the hours they are supposed to. THEY HAVE BEEN DOING THIS FOR OVER TWO WEEKS STRAIGHT!!! If you valu

For such a low rating they surely make it difficult to lease. High expectation=low ratings. Lady in the office super nice super helpful she’s a 10 out of 10. The people she reports to 0 out of 10 -not understanding at all -not even if your paper work is in order or perfect history with rent/lease. A mother will never mess with their kids Shelter. My assumption -Its not diverse based on my observation.

If i could give zero stars I would, living here was the worst experience I could have ever imagined. I was being consistently harassed by my downstairs neighbor who would follow me to my car amd make threats toward me, I called management several times and they would do nothing. I felt unsafe living there, and then when I moved out they took my entire security deposit over a 6" stain you could barely see on a light grey carpet, If i could post pictures on here I would. I would not recommend living here, and with the rising prices of rent especially not, when I first moved in it was affordable for what it was. 1 bedrooms were renting at 1100, 1 year later when I left they had raised the price to 1380. Definitely not worth it.

We moved in about a month ago and it's been great! The leasing office is super helpful: Geraldine is responsive and caring. When our microwave broke late one evening, maintenance installed a new one the next day before noon. The pool is really nice too, and they provide a pretty large range of hours

I had an apartment tour here with Samantha a couple weeks ago and though I didn’t lease with Dawn Homes, Samantha was a delight and I absolutely recommend people to work with her. She’s very knowledgeable and helps you no matter what your situation is. Anyone who has had a different experience with her obviously didn’t treat her with the respect she deserves and was repaid in kind.
