Summit East Ridge

Office is great, maintenance is great, the neighbors make this place unlivable. Worst apartment experience we’ve ever had. The walls are paper thin and the neighbors are egregiously loud, trashy, abusive, and have no respect for anybody. We wake up most mornings before 7am to music blasting and we go to bed to the sound of our neighbors tik toks. I used a fake name to prevent retaliation but this is not the apartment for you if you want respectful neighbors. To sum things up in a few words; Unlivable, keep looking.

Kristen is the worst property manager! LIARS. They showed a staged apartment saying the apartment for rent was being renovated. After moving in from out of state the curtain was pulled back to an apartment that had been flooded many times and never repaired. There were never any renovations just replaced carpet due to years of flooding and molding baseboards. This is the front hall of my “move-in ready” apartment. This should be illegal!!

5 Stars While the complex itself has its ups and downs, the real reason I’m giving five stars is because of the property manager, Madeline. She goes above and beyond to make sure residents are heard and taken care of. Anytime there’s an issue, she handle it quickly, professionally, and with genuine care. Her dedication truly makes all the difference and creates a much better living experience. I hope the management company knows what a gem they have!

The Summit East Ridge is by far the most disgusting and poorly managed apartment that I have EVER lived in. I only stayed for as long as I did because I didn’t have any other options at the time. While it is under new management who are trying their best, it’s grossly understaffed to the point where it takes over a week to have your hot water heater repaired. It is roach infested to the point that not even the food in your fridge is safe. It has gotten so bad that I cannot even cook food because of the infestation. Even when requesting pest control it takes forever for someone to show up then they stay for ten minutes and nothing is fixed. I moved to Summit this past March from Atlanta, GA. The location is super convenient and close to everything you'll need! Madeline was so helpful and sweet during my stressful move from out of state. The price was super affordable, especially coming from Atlanta where everywhere is oversaturated and overpriced. I live in a spacious, renovated, 1 bedroom with my cat Nico! I am very excited to spend the next couple of years here while I finish my master's at UT Chattanooga!
