Sturbridge Village Apartments

Lived here for seven years. I liked it because close to work and family but even that couldn’t make up for the tenants fighting and no heat in bedroom or bathroom! The smoke alarm in laundry room was literally beeping for over three months! I made several calls to Anna but she was always so rude and never adressed the problem!!! She was never pleasant when dealing with her! I had no heat off and on in the winter, finally called a professional service to fix. They don’t screen who they rented too because fighting over rent money was on going! Then packages from Amazon etc stolen from mail box area and once again Anna would rather hang up on you then listen! Three years in a row water pipes leaked and ceiling tiles laying on dirty rug!! They never fixed ceiling tiles and building looked tras

TLDR; live somewhere else if you can. Do you love run-down apartment buildings? How about being woken up at 5am to firemen telling you to evacuate your building? Maybe you enjoy loads of messages from your landlord reminding you about complex rules, but seemingly no follow-through to enforce those rules? Then Glendale is the right property management company for you to lease with! I am currently in my third lease at Sturbridge - unfortunately I was priced out of other options - and I cannot wait to move out next year. Dealing with Glendale has given me nothing but stress and major anxiety. - There have been so many laundry-room fires that I am afraid to leave my cat alone in my apartment. When I expressed my concern about this to management they LAUGHED AT ME. - There is no secure mailroom

I have lived here about a year or close to a year. The apartment is huge now are there apartment related problems yes. A lot of children are here so we can get noisy But it’s normally during day hours, and during the summer, not noisy at night. They were very quick to get my apartment treated. but that’s understandable but as a whole , I’m satisfied with the apartment. In my opinion, they are very quick to fix things but I understand with the current employment issues out here, staffing issues or problems everywhere. The thing that really keeps me here is how huge the apartments are that’s very good. I am definitely going to stick around here a few years and it’s a great area

The apartment complex has a great exterior and looks very appealing from the outside. However, the customer service is extremely disappointing. The staff consistently speaks rudely and handles resident concerns with a shocking lack of professionalism and respect. This seriously detracts from the overall living experience here.

I actually live here. I moved in almost one year ago and was just informed via an envelope under my door yesterday that rent will increase $45 upon being here one year November 1st. Nowhere in the agreement did it state that rent would increase the first year. The pool and lifeguards (well, one particular lifeguard) is a joke. My son is 7, was accused of being a five year old. I was told he needed to wear a life vest as well as myself needing to physically be in the pool. Parents are not allowed to just lay in the sun while the kids play. I was kicked out of my own complex pool by a 20 year old lifeguard that probably cannot even swim. There is not one soul at the pool. He gets paid to do nothing but ruin kids days. What a disappointment. Not an amazing place to live.
