Stonegate Community Association

As other reviewer has said, the HOA is terrible. They have a bias on tenants. They look for ways to fine you. Anticipate $150-$300 per month fine for tenants. They can fine you for whatever reason, even if you just stay at home doing nothing. Your landlord will not fight for you.

Horrible HOA. They walk around every day and look for a way to fine you. But when they need to get something done, like paint the number on the parking spot, they need 9 months so far to process that request. Response time is 2-3 months once you submit the request. We’ve been submitting the request to paint the balcony floor for 1.5years now. When they installed it, they just screwed in 2by4’s, didnt even take the barcode from home depot off. Ridiculous and very rude HOA.

Horrible HOA. Complaints about very small things. Would not recommend. I’m sure if your errr 60+ this may not be a bad fit unfortunately for those who are younger, you are looked down upon here and your presence is not welcome. Ridiculous enforcement of rules and an HOA who does not care what residents have to say.

Highly disorganized HOA. Will fine renters for not mowing their lawns - lawns with rabbit nests. Residents will complain about basketball nets with chaotic children, and HOA will turn a blind eye. There is a basketball net in the pool area that no one uses. Guess the neighbors have no choice but to “let the kids be kids” and hear insane children, screaming at the top of their lungs. Residents could ask to hold a fundraiser to build a modest basketball court - requests will be continuously ignored. Will tow “unauthorized cars” - cars that are registered. According to Associa - they check by seeing if the car has an inspection sticker. No inspection sticker? This means your car is unregistered! Bummer… the association will gladly violate your car’s window with a PITA-to-remove towing sticke

In terms of living within the community as a resident, everything is fine, which is why I gave two stars. Neighbors are good, it is generally clean, and generally safe. But THEN today, I got hit with a exorbitant bill from a legal firm without prior notification from the Association itself. I have paid all of my dues and have the records of redeemed checks to prove it. They did not email, call me, leave a message, or schedule an ADR meeting with me (or provide the opportunity for one). I have no idea what this bill is about since I have paid my dues every month and any/all maintenance fees. Very poor communication from the Association. If there was something missing, why didn't they just reach out to me? Why did they wait so long? I will raise my rating if they respond favorably t
