To begin: I am a client that was under contract 18 months. Read below to find out first hand my experiences with Steel Homes from Miami. Steel Homes Contract Date: May 2024 I signed a contract May 24 2024 for Steel Homes to manufacture a pre-fabricated home. They estimated that the completion date would be around December, 2024. Upon signing and wiring an initial deposit of +$40k, Steel homes provided out dated codes that did not meet current Florida Building Code requirements, taking over 8 months to provide me the correct plans. These delays delayed permitting which did not allow me to begin my concrete foundation construction. I emailed and called weekly to get updates. After receiving updated plans and specifications after 8 months of waiting from Steel Homes, I permitted through

I live in another state, and I have been trying to get information from them regarding prices for models, so I can budget for building on a piece of property. I have tried calling, they pick up the phone and then just hang up, that happened 5 times. The 6th time, they let the answering machine pick up and never called me back. I have tried emailing and no one responds to my emails. To me, this sounds like a fake company. If someone is requesting info on a model home, why would a company just outright ignore a consumers request, especially if money is involved? I tried to report them to the BBB, but apparently they're not a BBB rated company. Go figure!!! I'll take my business elsewhere.

They're not answering the phone or emails when you need them. The new management isn't taking care of customers and I have a deposit with you. What's going on?

Excellent experience. We are a builder in the Tampa Bay area. Most of our work is along the beaches. St. Pete Beach, Treasure Island, Madiera Beach etc. Steel Homes Modular is giving our clients a quick and affordable way to get back in their homes with a quality product. As a local builder, going this route takes out delays with the weather and subcontractors. The biggest selling point for us is it's Steel construction.Thank you!
