Stanley Martin Homes at Riverdale Park Station

Purchased home in August 2017. Non of the deficiencies noted during the walk through where corrected as expected. Refrigerator broke from the day one and we had to take off from work twice to let Stanley Martin deliver the right model at the second attempt. Terrible quality of walls; poorly sanded joints, pop ups everywhere. They kind of agree to fix, but you have to stay home and babysit the workers, since they only agree to do it on weekdays 8 to 5. Even though their construction work force is present in the community doing the new construction all seven days a week. Was also refused to change quite severely damaged front door and was offered to have it fixed. Would you guys want to have new stuff in your new home to have fixed???!!! Bought one of the homes here and commute daily on the cycle path to the University of Maryland. Stanley Martin promised up and down that the trolley trail would be available so that I could get to work when I moved in August 2017. Nevertheless, the trail has been intermittently closed, and the developer just threw up a 10' fence blocking my path to work for good (it's now March 2018); this was done without warning or consulting the homeowners. The alternate path suggested by the developer is a half-mile detour without sidewalks, a mile detour if I want to go on streets with sidewalks (e.g., if I have my daughter in a stroller). This is not Stanley Martin's fault, but they clearly do not have any idea of what the developers / contractors are doing on a day to day basis and thus cannot m

Horrible craftsmanship. Can’t buy normal Window treatment because all windows measurements are different. Top portion of the window frame is one number while the bottom portion is a lot smaller🤯. For a 1/2million home I don’t think is worth it but hey I did it.. I guess the joke is on me.

Nandi was awesome and the process smooth. Glad my brother and I decided to buy here! What an amazing community so close to UMD!

Nice new townhomes, and the sales associate was very pleasant and helpful.
