I was incredibly disappointed in my experience with this company. I had initially called them to schedule a tour and ask a couple questions. One of which being if we were allowed to share rooms. I was given a clear yes, so I moved forwards with the touring process. Come tour day, they were incredibly rude when there was a miscommunication and they treated us negatively. Going back to the sharing rooms, we get to the tour and they completely change their minds on letting us share rooms. Now me and my friends are out of a place to live due to their poor management. Not only this but we were the only people scheduled to tour the house that day, so when we got to the house and had to wait 10 minutes while they spontaneously gave the tour to someone else, we weren’t thrilled.

I’m seeing all the other reviews regarding cleaning staff fees being outrageous and would just like to share my similar experience. When my girlfriend moved into the apartment the first thing she did was deep clean not being able to tell the supposed cleaning team had been in there and preformed their version of a clean after the last people but they did tell us they were in there before she moved in later down the line. Then as we go to move out her and the two separate cleaning companies that she works for that clean houses in lake oconee and all over Eatonton spent around 3-4 hours actually deep cleaning the house, behind appliances more then has ever been done in there. Avoid this rental company at all costs. My experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating from the beginning to the end of my lease. 1. DIRTY UNIT AT MOVE-IN: When I moved in, the unit was visibly dirty. However, I later learned the previous tenant was charged $400 for 6 hours of cleaning. I contacted Adele from the management team to have the cleaners return. When so-called cleaners arrived, it turned out to be a mother and daughter, clearly not professional cleaners. They were literally just dusting surfaces, not deep-cleaning as the management brags about their checklist. The mother appeared sick and was working extremely slowly, she took over an hour just to wipe down a single bedroom windows blind. Meanwhile, the daughter was dusting elsewhere and later came to inspect her mom

Southern Classic Management has been managing our properties for four years. They do a great job. They are responsive and attentive. They help keep our properties rented and help us keep our homes very well maintained. Our tenants seem happy with them as well. A large majority of our tenants are happy to renew, thanks to their service. I would recommend them to anyone.

It has been a rewarding experience for me in that Southern Classic has managed my properties in a professional manner that addressed both my needs and those of my tenants. They have achieved an occupancy rate of over 90% and have maintained the properties in good operating condition while controlling operating expenses to allow for a positive cash flow. I am an absentee landlord and could not have kept this property for 30 years without the help that this group provided for me. I would recommend them to anyone who requires a property management group.
