South Hills Apartments

Lived here about a year and a half now and no complaints. Easy to speak to manager and very supportive manager. Had a little problem Monday morning for the first time and she was right on top of it. Communicated to me on what to expect and I was impressed by the care and urgency she showed. It wasn't her fault, yet she took it on with grace and professionalism. I am happier than I have ever been in an apartment. Also, the noise level is so minimal. No constant weed blowers or mowers. My last appointment did it 5 times a week even though it didn't need it. Love the atmosphere.

My experience living at South Hills apartments was a very good one. I won’t go into my personal life and struggles at the time but Kristen was amazing, kind and understanding. Far more gracious and kind than I ever expected from a “landlord”. All my concerns or issues were minor and dealt with very quickly. My neighbors were wonderful as well. I bonded with them and felt very safe there. This was a great Community not just an apartment complex. I would rent from them at any of their properties in Pendleton but my preference hands down would be South Hill.

Loved living in these apartments as they were clean, well managed, and the pool for the summer was a plus! Kristen is an amazing manager that always helped us in what we needed! Great area to live in as well!

The management smiles unless you actually want them to do something. Then she gets cold as ice. If there are problems with other residents, she refuses to step in. Such as, if they are exceedingly noisy She won't do a thing. She will insist that there has to be at least 3 calls to the police for her to do something. However, that isn't true. The place is OLD and there is nothing between apartments to stop noise. They continually spray for insects. The parking has enough spaces, but only for residents - there is no parking for guests. My oven was a fire danger - but they did nothing. Instead, they fobbed us off with a "it's a cheap stove/oven" excuse. I'm so glad I'm OUT and away from there! Never sign on with these people.

My fiance lived here for about a year with his roommate and when we decided to get a place he put in his 30 day notice and moved out respectfully. About 2 weeks after he moved out he got a call from the landlord Terry stating that he owes $675.00 for rent when he had only stayed 15 days of the month and he was told he would be informed of a prorated amount of rent. She argued that he now has to pay the full months rent and a $75 late fee!! To leave good terms he didn't argue with her and just agreed to pay her in payments. After his first payment Terry then tells him they had to replace the carpets and he won't get his deposit and owes another $2100.00 for carpets! We are still fighting this as we never got an itemized statement and she refuses to give copies of his rental agreement! She
