Sommerlin by McKelvey Homes

I advise caution when building a home with McKelvey that is near a school. Our subdivision, and cul se sac specially, is used as a drop off and pick up zone for the parents of the local middle school. The residents concerns have been brought to McKelvey, the HOA’s, the local police, and the governing bodies attention. We are told there is nothing that can be done. I was told by the HOA, that I should have considered this, having moved so close to a school. I did not think of this as a potential issue, having paid a $20,000 premium for a lot that I was sold as being more private. Something to consider going forward. There are as many as 30-50 cars on a twice- a- day basis. They use driveways to park and turn around. I have now had to resort to using cones to block my driveway to prevent pre
