Somerset Park Apartments

This place will tow your car when you come visit your family starting at 4pm the tow truck took over 60 to 70 cars on 9/19/23 ln just one day in there own words. I got my car tow today at 630pm too I live here 3yrs over 100 ppl that live in somerset park saw what happened here and are upset 😡 that family members or even people that live there get their own car tow at 4pm ..one of the guys got very disrespectful with me n curse me out in Spanish i know every words he said to me in front of 100s of somerset park apt residence the tow company took 125 dollars because they lift a car up the person lived here for 10yrs it hurt my heart

I’ve been living here for 5 years, and I rarely leave reviews, but I feel I have to in this case. My experience has become extremely frustrating due to the complete lack of communication. I’ve been left waiting for updates, with no clear answers, and no one seems to follow through. It should not take this much effort on my end just to get a simple response. I’m not writing this to be negative for the sake of it — I’m writing it because long-term residents deserve basic communication and accountability. At this point, I’m beyond frustrated and would appreciate someone reaching out directly to address these issues.

I would give this place a BIG ZERO “0” in terms of rating… There is no way I can do that so posting a 1 star. 1. Terrible management 2. Terrible maintenance staff I would not recommend moving here. It's clear favoritism among the tenants. The staff are very nice to certain people. (And I've heard that from a couple different tenants) While others they make it seem as though your a burden if you request something be fixed. No hot water on the weekend, won't get fixed until Monday. AC not working, they'll get to it when they get to it. Some ppl can have as many cars as they want. Others they'll slap a sticker on a car they don't recognize. And don't try and call the main office in Highland Park to complain, you'll get nowhere. Dear potential tenets...just read all the reviews here and pick up on the common complaints. It's not hard to tell.

Disgusting phone etiquette. I was told no appointment was necessary to view a unit. Instead was given instructions to call upon arrival; to which i did. No one answered of course. However their office manager informed me via email that the leasing office hours were indeed 9am to 5pm. I traveled 37 mins from union nj to this property in Somerset. There was no one at their leasing office at 9:50 am, and of course no one was answering the phone so I left a voice-mail. The office manager calls me with the nastiest attitude literally 30 mins after me leaving the property. I inform her that I am now back in Union County and before I could even attempt to ask any questions she literally hung up the phone in my ear.
