Somerset Apartments

I moved in December of 2025. Malek and Justice have been nothing short of awesome. The maintenance crew came in and my apartment is in perfect working order and they are going to be putting in new energy efficient windows soon as the old ones I have now definitely are noisy if it is a windy day. The pool is nice and the laundry facilities are great! My area is nice and quiet at night which was surprising for an apartment. All of my next door and above me neighbors are cool. Definitely recommend Somerset Apartments! Shout out and thank you to the employees working hard to make this place a home. Also it is a 16 minute bicycle ride from my front door to the gulf so that is an added bonus! Hope to see you here!

This place is a nightmare. It's an unsafe community. A girl was stabbed to death there, and there are robberies that happen from time to time. Some of the leasing office employees are harsh. There are no security gates for the community. When I moved in, the carpets hadn't been replaced, and they smelled awful. They were old and worn out. I have pictures of all this chaos. When I asked about the smell, they denied it by saying it was a normal smell. For an old building, the truth is that it was caused by animals that the previous resident raised. There was a dryer vent that was open, and the dishwasher was leaking, and they didn't fix it. Instead, they closed the valve. The bathroom mirror is ridiculous. It hasn't been replaced in years. They also confiscated the warehouse under false pret

I’ve been living here since October , the buildings are very outdated and have not been restored. My upstairs neighbor isn’t loud but the walls are so thin I can hear everything and it’s quite disturbing. The place gets so dark at night no wonder why there is so many break ins and things getting stolen. There is no security here no reassurance that you are safe. The construct of the kitchen blows my mind the stove is so close to the wall and I have to open the oven everything to get into the silverware’s drawer. These apartments are over priced the only reason I chose this place was because of the dog park. That’s why they got 2 stars because over all they keep the property clean. But the sprinkler system smells of sewage water

Malek made my experience awesome he was kind and very personable and professional he made it easy to look at units and explained everything throughly. I have had a great experience and look forward to joining the community. Thank you Malek for all your help and making everything easy to handle.

I've had a great experience living at this apartment complex so far. One thing that really stands out is how quickly and efficiently maintenance handles work orders. Every issue I've reported has been resolved expeditiously, often within the same day. It's clear the management cares about keeping residents comfortable and everything running smoothly. The staff is professional, responsive, and easy to work with. I'm very happy to call this place home!
