Silverthorne Homebuilders at Highland Woods - Old Bridge

Avoid at all cost I am writing this to warn anyone thinking of buying a home from Silverthorne. While building behind our property, their crew severed our high-voltage power line. We have been left without electricity, and the temperature in our house has already dropped to 62°F. What is worse is the total lack of humanity shown by this company. No one apologized, no one called to check on us. When approached, the construction manager was incredibly rude, aggressive, and completely dismissive of our safety. It feels like this company has no soul and cares nothing for people, only profit. If this is how they treat their neighbors, I cannot imagine the quality of the homes they build. Do not buy from them.

The experience with Silverthorne ROCKED. Rene did a phenomenal job setting us up with Jim who was a rockstar. What stood out was how much listening he did. Once he had all the information he was able to show us examples and options we didn't know existed. Silverthorne stood out with the attention to detail and highly customizable options.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Evidently I needed to rewrite my review so that it appears as newest, there have been an influx of fabricated reviews by others. Reviews that capture but a small and irrelevant snapshot into the ENTIRE experience. Some people haven’t even started their build and or commenting only on one warranty visit? They must be giving out gift cards for “5 Stars.” The reality is this company is a joke, they don’t use a consistent labor force, over promise, under deliver, over price, and fail to actually assess the house through every step. Please - pick a different builder! Once Silverthorne closes on your house and they get your money - you are left to fix all of their mistakes, their tradesmen mistakes and their poor craftsmanship. They either make excuses or ignore any requests to fix the issues because AGAIN, they already have your money. Please take the time and read all the reviews about Silverthorne and Silverthorne Old Bridge before building with them - there are so many complaints and unhappy customers.
