I feel like when a business goes above and beyond to help out someone needing housing and actually shows caring and not judgemental needs to be recognized. Shield Properties has bent over backwards to help me and has taken a lot of stress off me. This property management company has to be the best in town when it comes to genuine compassion for community needs. I highly recommend not just for rentals but if you are looking to buy or sell as well. You won't regret it.

We filled out application process paid the fees ...we got approved... on our way to sign the lease on the house they changed there minds AND said they would rather sell the house. They are a joke. How can you do that to a family waiting for a place to live. Then they had me going to look at another house and at last minute canceled the appointment again and said there not doing nothing with the house. I will never contact them again or use them for renting.

Scheduled a viewing with them and decided not to go because the leasing agent was pushy and rude on the phone when she called to follow up. It seemed she was adamant to reschedule but I had told her my schedule was tight the day before and she sounded disappointed we wouldn't push it back later, hanging up the phone after saying "k, see you at 9"

These people are a comple joke!!!! Do not ever rent from them!!!! My apartment was not even ready for me to move in the day I signed the lease because they had to lay all new flooring because it smelled very badly door knobs missing screens still ripped . After waiting over a week apartment still wasn't ready I NEVER moved into the place and they only gave me my deposit back kept 320.00 of my money on a place I never even moved in! These people are theifs! Do not ever go threw them all they care about is your money!!

First to look at a property for rent. Went and looked at it. Told the lady we wanted it. She gave us applicatilns. The next day she said soneone else is ahead of me. She judged us and thought we weren't good enough. I make plenty of money, had excellent references but she just didn't like us.
