Seneca Place

I lived in Seneca Place Apartments for one year, and it was the worst experience I have had in my 66 years of life. For the sake of God, I sincerely ask people: please do not move into this community. In my experience, they find different ways to charge you money that you do not expect. I once reported a bug issue in the apartment. Instead of properly handling it, they sent a notice charging almost $1,500 for pest treatment. We refused because the apartment was never properly inspected. After that, they added an additional $700 fine. In total, I paid about $2,100 for a bug treatment situation that was never clearly justified. They charged us many times for things that did not make sense. Seneca Place was a very bad experience for me. The management felt unprofessional, and the staff were not kind or respectful, especially the manager. Communication was difficult, and concerns were not handled properly. There were unfair charges added without clear explanation, and the move-out fees were extremely high. It felt like they were trying to charge as much as possible. The apartment often smelled like weed, and there were mice throughout the year, which made the living conditions uncomfortable and concerning — especially for families with children. Overall, I would not recommend this place. If you care about your comfort and your family’s safety, make sure to read all reviews carefully before deciding to move here.

Update as of May'2024- the locks are there, management has improved, Excellent services, no issues, 5 stars! Great community to live in Actually. Big Spacious rooms, fully furnished with Great accessories (Dishwasher, Microwave, Fridge, Chimney in the Kitchen and Washing Machine & Dryer in Separate drawing room). Good admin team, ready to help in the leasing office or on emails. Location wise -- Too good, close to Grocery stores, schools, UPS, gas stations, bus stops. The reason I am giving 3 (less) stars is "Unknown People smoking all night in groups (lots of shady places with no or very less light)". Second reason is to Management again: "You have been saying to have locks outside buildings since Jan'23 still no improvement or progress there.

This place is horrible. They only have one good thing. Whenever I complain they try! But that’s the only good thing. Now the bad things. Mice, roaches, people smoking weed in the building ( I’m on the top floor so smoke rises). I’ve heard of people sleeping in the building but never seen them. My neighbors smoke cigarettes and the smoke and smell comes into my apartment. My son has asthma . Again I’m on the top floor so when the people downstairs children are running around it sounds like they are in my apartment. When they jump everything in my apartment shakes. I’ve asked to break my lease and was told no. I have to live in these horrible conditions. I hope the state close these apartments down. I don’t know how people live like this. They are nasty. Been here for 7 years, awful apartments - Thin walls, you can hear neighbors from outside and inside, loud arguments - New updates, front door of building with code always ends up breaking, before people would be sleeping on the floor - WiFi: GIGStreem is very slow, during zoom meetings WiFi would cut off randomly - Mold and bugs, crickets come in, roaches around the apartment, i found out there were roaches, one got inside my food now I have to wait for maintenance I can’t eat comfortably at home or sleep Bathrooms don’t have enough ventilation (no matter how many times you clean mold keeps showing up and they will charge you if not maintained) Showers are cheap, they peel off and they check yearly if it’s peeled they just paint over the showers - these apartments are outdated, interior i
