Sawyer Flats

I’m am disappointed that Sawyer Flats has left me and my daughter to live in a building that is torn apart and looks as if it were an abandoned building, everything around is falling apart and it’s so unsafe and unwelcoming to live here. Sawyer Flats didn’t offer a better unit for me and my child to move into instead they offered me a mutual termination of lease and I don’t appreciate that. If they really cared about keeping their tenants they would offer a better solution considering that I was very excited to move here in the first place and wanted to stay here long term. The unexpected construction of this building in November and abandonment of its construction crews to repair it have made living here so difficult and frustrating. Today we had Donovan Palacios come out to our home to do a lot of maintenance repairs. We had an absolutely wonderful experience. Donovan is incredibly polite and very easy to deal with. My wife and I appreciated his professionalism, we felt completely comfortable with him in our home (so much so that we even popped out for a bit with no worries). Personally speaking, as someone who has worked as an electrician in the residential space, it is crucial for an employee to have good people skills and to make the homeowner feel comfortable with the stranger in their home. Donovan possesses these skills 100%. As for the work he completed, we have nothing but compliments. Sawyer flats is economical and great bang for your buck between location and home sizes. The service could be more responsive from office team so I’m not sure if they are confident enough to resolve concerns, or if they shuffle even small concerns to the manager which can be overwhelming and naturally things will be missed. That said Donovan from the service team did ask that I leave a review, so I wanted to because he is the only maintenance person to call me before arriving, as I always request due to working from home and frequent meetings and a sleeping baby. He also showed me all the work he did in the apartment, Answered questions I had and followed up with me the next day doing additional repairs I thought a contractor would have had to make.

My son recently moved in. We had a great experience with Sawyer Flats building services/maintenance team. Donovan, the service technician, responded very quickly after the request was submitted. Donovan arrived early, was professional, friendly, and fixed the dryer right away. Highly recommend! Thank you, Donovan for a job well done.

I really wanted to give 5 Stars for this apartment community and for the staffs who were concerned and polite, but due to many issues i had to give only 2 stars . I never wanted to miss this apartment but i had to due to the below reasons. Pros : 1. Location and community is totally awesome 2. Model of the house is really good and very comfortable. 3. Walkable to Kohls, Target, Rio Lake, Small Downtown, many restaurants. 4. Reception People and Managers are very good and were friendly and did all the help they could. 5. If you get a good apartment you should really be lucky as i just love the community and the surroundings. 6. Two sided community and they maintain the entire community very well. 7.
