Rock Apartments

Don’t live here. The building we live in is falling apart and management is disorganized. We submit work orders and then are left in the dark. Management does not communicate any plans, so workers have shown up to our home unexpectedly. They also don’t communicate when they’ll come to fix work orders, or how they’ve fixed work orders, so we just see work orders marked as resolved with no insight on if/how the issue is fixed. Worst of all, our basement flooded horribly in June, forcing us to spend money to create our own storage setup in the garage instead. We haven’t stored anything in the basement since because we don’t trust it. True enough, here we are 2 months later with more basement flooding, despite us begging for management to schedule maintenance to come fix the leaky wall.

Our best living experience in Madison - by far. My fiancee and I have rented from Rock Apartments for two years now, and have only the greatest things to say about Josh and Kayla, our landlords. They have gone above and beyond routine maintenance many times, preemptively installing brand-new windows and doors to help lower tenants' heating and cooling costs. The properties are well-groomed, and the driveways are always plowed come time to leave for work. Any need for maintenance is promptly responded to via an online request portal on their website. The few times there has been a need to enter the rental they give ample notice, maintenance never leaves a mess, and a note is left on your door notifying you that your property was entered with your permission once they leave. This review is for the apartments at 2114 Muir Field Rd. These apartments are nice and management seems to try to keep them up to date. They recently replaced old windows with nice new windows which was nice. I recently had some issues with smoke in my apartment due to other tenants smoking in their unit and management was able to take steps to mitigate and eventually resolve the issue. Overall I would recommend living here.
