Riverwalk on Main

We have lived at Riverwalk on Main for the last 7 years. You can’t beat the location in downtown Old Algonquin right along the riverfront. Karen, the property manager goes above and beyond to ensure the property is secure and spotless! She throws resident events to make residents feel valued and to build a sense of community around the holidays. We absolutely love our home at Riverwalk on Main! The location is a bit further out, but the peace and quiet is well worth the longer drive. We work from home, so the distance is not an issue for us. The building offers a demo kitchen and club house, games clubhouse, workout center, and a theatre room. You also have heated, underground parking for those cold Chicago winters!

Karen the site administrator is one of a kind, she knows everyone and everything about Riverwalk. Karen will give you the best tour and answer every question you may have. This building is lovely and has a perfect location!! Trust me and give Riverwalk a chance, you won’t regret it!

I’ll quickly say the Units are Beautiful and the community is the most inviting group of men and women I have had the pleasure to encounter. This is definitely a place that feels welcoming and safe. Would happily raise a family here. Karen, the leasing agent is the most wonderful and caring leasing agent I have meet. She was so on the money, ready to answer any question I had and provide any additional photos or videos of the property. She truly is a one of a kind leaseing agent.

Lived here > 1.5 years. To be clear, I would give 5 stars to everyone who works there especially Mike. Mike is fantastic. The apartments are spacious with high ceilings. Maintenance is handled appropriately. Mike is the maintenance supervisor. No notes. Also, some of these other google reviews seem click farmed For context, this was a condo company in which the builder went bankrupt and then converted to apartments. Unfortunately, this place seems to be owned by a private equity company now and there are issues with this. It is difficult to get through to the front desk as all calls get routed to California. The front desk staff are not always on site. I was charged for double the rent incorrectly for the first 3 months and instead of getting money back, they just gave me credit. Not a de

My experience with renew was Exceptional! From the phone call I got back from Karen Kaplan who responded immediately, met with me and showed me The apartment options and than got me moved in immediately! Her diligence, kindness and professionalism was greatly appreciated, and also played a big factor in my choosing to live here at renew. I also meant Jose the maintenance person who works diligently at keeping these apartments fresh smelling and clean. I’ve lived here for a week now and I am already very happy and feel confident in my choice with deciding to live here at renew!
