River Haven - H&H Homes

Moved into the neighborhood about 10 months ago. We researched the area for a few years before deciding on River Haven Majestic Oaks. What drew us in was it wasn’t a clear cut community. We were unsure at first with flooding in the area so we investigated and actually spent time here during Florence,we made the trip special from Connecticut to make sure. Only the entrance was flooded which was our deciding factor to build our new home here. We love it here and have wonderful friends and neighbors

Absolutely horrific. The agent was always "overwhelmed and so busy". 2 times she called us to say "she was so busy and distracted, she almost sold our lot to someone else". After that we looked up the builder for BBB complaints and online. We discovered many unhappy customers especially when it came to H&H completing warranty work. Then the agen called to tell us that someone else wanted our lot or the one next door but we would have to pick our house asap to determine how the house would fit on the lot so the neighbor could put his driveway on our side of the lot. We left that place in a hurry. We have since bought a home and moved to SC. The lot at River Haven is still available. Seems someone was telling tales all along.

Hi, I am from the marketing department with H&H Homes. I wanted to address the flooding concern that was noted in the reviews. This is a beautiful community with an amazing list of amenities including walking trails, water access for fishing and kayaking, a pool and cabana and much more. During Hurricane Florence the area saw a record amount of rain fall that led to some flooding. We are happy to report that through all of this our homes in RiverHaven were all left high and dry. While there was some flooding on the roads around this area, none of our homes had any issues. Since the hurricane, we have made it a point to make sure that all of our home sites are at a safe level so that the homes we build are safe from flooding concerns.

I thought the lady with very uppity and snooty she said they raise the prices because they can.. Be it though it may who would say that to a customer? We instantly knew that we would not want to buy from there.
