Chesapeake Homes at Heritage Park at Longs

Front of my home at 712 hackberry way heritage park Longs SC right next to Chesapeake homes models during last rainstorm, street totally flooded, water 3/4 of the way up my driveway, my back is totally flooded also, feel like we live on an island. Now due to water runoff from the phase 5 area they're building behind us into our phase one area, they put a big dirt berm directly behind my home in the middle of what was supposed to be our usable common area. When we purchase from Chesapeake, they assured us there were no flood issues or concerns, when we asked about them building phase 5 behind us so close, they assured us we would have a buffer of tree line and common area as shown on Chesapeake's lot map, first thing developer did was knock down tree line and now developers' dirt berm place

Our primary three factors for purchasing from Chesapeake Homes at Heritage Park in Longs were the proximity to Carolina sea shores, natural gas service, and our saleslady Tracey G, whom we feel very fortunate to have met. Tracey is a driven and compassionate down to earth closer. She encompasses all of punctual, professional, attentive and responsive. Tracey G. has not only given us our FOREVER home, she has blessed us by always being there for any questions we asked & was sympathetic to us moving from another state. She has a “no pressure” approach when showing homes & a southern hospitality that warmed our hearts. We did look at other developments in the area, but fell in love with the Cherry Grove model & the navy blue cabinets. For the record, we both thought she’d been at Chesapeake for years & were surprised when she told us that it only was a few months. She’s a natural at what she does & an asset to Heritage & Chesapeake Homes.

We just closed on our house this week and we could not be more excited. Tracy was instrumental in making our home buying experience wonderful. Have visited Heritage Park in Longs, twice now since March 2023. Community is really coming along. Pool pavilion, parking lot and pool looks like it's moving along. Homes are of really nice quality compared to many other communities and builders that my husband and I have seen. Choices of models are many. Location is really nice being its outside of the congestion, but close enough to grocery, restaurants and the beach.We also spoke to a resident there and they said, they love it. Iam looking forward to seeing how the community develops.
