February of 2021 we interviewed several custom builders approved through our development and decided on River City due to their price transparency, truly custom build process and craftsmanship. The lot we picked out presented a challenge for the original blueprint selected, so River City went back to the drawing board and designed for us a custom floor plan that met our requirements and set our house apart from the rest of our neighborhood. The communication was outstanding throughout the building process. I love that they use an app for all communication, selections and warranty work as well as uploading our pre drywall pictures. Highly recommend! We built a semi-custom home with RiverCity, completed in February 2025. The entire build was remote for us living states away after our initial meeting with River City to select the lot and floor plan, which we customized. They never said no and went above and beyond to deliver on our vision. The RiverCity team kept us informed every week with progress photos and details. They use BuilderTrend app to keep you advised of budget, selections, and communications, making it easy! We chose River City because their design, materials, and craftsmanship stood out, we couldn’t be more pleased. Follow up with punch items is excellent!
