Ridgeview Apartments

Perfect for singles and non parents. I gave three stars because this isn’t really a management issue. This is a people issue. Before my husband and I had our baby 4 months ago we loved it here, because we were always at work and never here. Now that I’m a stay at home mom I’m noticing the issues. Dog poop all over the place, grass, sidewalks, stairs everywhere. Breezeways are always dirty from people spitting gum and letting their dog poop, and built up dirt/leaves/bugs. They need to be pressure washed badly. Babies sun time is limited to our back porch. You can submit issues and complaints to management regarding the pet waste but the residents do not care. I’ve lived here 6 years and I am moving next month. It will be strange not coming here to my home. I’ve had a great apartment, highly recommend one with vaulted ceiling. I’ll be honest, the area has definitely changed not for the better. What I do wish for is the tenants to have more respect for where they live and that others live here too. I will say my friend Brandon and the maintenance guys are so great. They have always been good to me and very friendly. It doesn’t always have to be business. I do know they work hard at what they do to take care of this place and go above and beyond when renters aren’t respectful enough to do it themselves. They should be recognized a lot more. I will miss these guys!!!!!

Management staff are quite slow to respond to urgent matters and honestly make the most ridiculous decisions at times; they are also very greedy. These people slapped a lease violation on us without even telling us why. The apartments themselves are really quite nice, surprisingly spatious but the people that run this place suck. They will rip you off with rent too, it can jump up by 300 dollars, as it did in 2022. Let's not forget about how they suddenly decided this year our lease ends in September and not October so they can charge us an extra 200 bucks in "pro-rates;" when we asked for explanations as to why our lease is renewing a month early, they said "oh it just does that." I had two issues this week that were addressed by maintenance in a timely manner. The first was my air conditioner and second the microwave. They were both fixed the same day I made my reports and maintenance was very professional and kind. I really appreciate it.

We are new to statesville and looked at a number of apartments. We were really impressed with Ridgeview. Our consultant Stephanie was professional, kind and efficient. The complex is hidden away behind beautiful trees and is still close to everything. We are moving in July and are looking forward to it
