Reverie at Trailmark 55+ Living

Unfortunately our dreamfinders retirement home has been nothing more than a nightmare! Let me address the actual home problems first. The home is just 2 years old and has needed several costly repairs. The air conditioning system has been broken 6 times in the past year with repairs totaling over 2,000 dollars. Not to mention that original packaging materials never properly removed were found in the main air vents throughout the house by the Strada serviceman. No wonder we had bad airflow. The garage door required 5600 in repairs as it came slamming down 4 months ago nearly missing hitting me as I exited the garage. The original springs were not sufficient for the weight of the door. If I could give them a ZERO I would. I have been a resident here for over 2 years and keep hoping things improve, but they do not!! For starters check out the FL Better Business Bureau. Significant issues: 1. Worst kept property in the area. Please note the vacant lots which are not cut; the common areas that have high weeds, bare spots, fallen trees (by main gate for over 6 months). 2. It's a gated community but one of the two gates have been inoperable several times for over six months in total. They continue to let contractors in before 7am (as per county regulations that do not allow this). Despite several complaints no corrective action has been taken. 3. The Amenity Center, which is about 18 months old has been closed multiple times for issues with leaks, the pool, the hot tu

Nice homes and layout, but lots of fees add up to a hefty monthly bill. HOA is low, but add to that the “Amenities fee” and the CDD - read up on that one, as it is becoming more common in Florida. Also, the house price does not include the lot purchase, which adds an additional $5,000 - $15,000. All in all, we thought the choice of models and the area, which is bounded by trails and a preserve were very nice, but keep in mind that comes with fees and other costs that are not reflected in the base price of the models.

We moved to Reverie Trailmark to be closer to our grandson who was diagnosed with leukemia...Fell in love with the house we looked at...I will admit I didn't want to leave The Villages with all the have to offer....But knew it was the right thing to do for support for our daughter and son in law....I was a little nervous after reading some of the negative reviews....I have to say Reverie Trailmark is amazing..Yes it's a smaller community and on the quieter side...The houses seem to be well built...as far as negative reviews I really can't understand why...We had a few minor things that needed to be fixed and within a few days everything was taken care of... Really well thought out neighborhood. Clean and modern. Other residents are wonderful. Models are very upscale.
