Residences at Oakland Road

I've been living at 175 Oakland Road for five years now and couldn't be more pleased. The living space/dining area/kitchen is open floorplan, something that was hard to find when I was looking. The units are not incredibly fancy but they are well-done and I have had very few (possibly zero) issues with appliances, etc. Building management is responsive when I do have to call them (which is rarely) and they clear snow quickly. we are located in a nice quiet spot in South Windsor where everything is close by. I sit in my bright sunlit unit in the morning with my coffee, windows open, listening to the birds at the creek right outside - and I couldn't be happier with my decision to move here.

Recommend doing a drive through of the property before moving forward. The leasing agent was wonderful to work with, very responsive! However, for the price of the townhome we did not feel it was worth what the property actually looked like compared to online photos. All of the landscaping was significantly outgrown, and the buildings looked like an outdated motel. You also don't have access to any ametities like other properties at this rate such as a gym, pool. Nice town, but the property was not at all what we expected, unfortunately.
