Please do not make my mistake and read the reviews with a grain of salt. This has been the worst renting experience I have ever encountered. I have also had many conversations with management and tried to contact the cooperate office, but things will never change at renew. Here are the worse things that happened in my 11 months here and all were documented and spoken to with management: 1. We had water dripping for a month which resulted in mold. My maintenance request took so long to fix because there wasn’t enough staff. Their short term solution was to cut a hole in my ceiling and leaving it for two days, exposing me to additional mold, dust, and installation. I experienced mold exposure health issues. 2. I had a neighbor play loud music during all parts of the day and for months and

On the 1st of the month, the payment application displayed an incorrect amount ($12). This error was reported in a timely manner. I paid my rent via money order for $1,495, which was received by management without any comments or warnings about an alleged outstanding balance. I was not informed of any issue at that time. It was not until December 23rd that I received an email stating that the “correct” rent amount was $1,545 and that, due to the difference, I was being held responsible for a late payment and late fees. It is improper to assign a late payment when the rent was received and accepted without objection within the appropriate timeframe.

I feel it's important to share my observations. There are consistent issues with excessive noise, including very loud music at all hours of the day and night. It's also common to witness loud public arguments on the property, which contributes to a tense and uncomfortable atmosphere. The frequent presence of law enforcement in the complex is noticeable and concerning. Based on my daily observations from next door, I would strongly recommend prospective residents consider the overall environment

I wouldn’t give this place 1 star but I had to for this review. 1st the apt I viewed was not the apt I moved into they will show you a model apt and move you into something that is no where near the same. The tub was rusted and had mold around it, the carpet smelled terrible, the paint job was horrible throughout the whole apt. the stove looked like it hadn’t been cleaned prior to me moving in. When I started cleaning the apt the kitchen smelled terrible so I thought it just needed a good cleaning I was wrong the whole yr I lived there the smell never went away. I pulled the stove off the wall to clean behind it and it was a mess. The refrigerator was so dirty that it was stuck to the wall and maintenance had to come and pry it off the wall. VENDORS/SERVICE PROVIDERS BEWARE! Renew Madison DOES NOT pay their invoices! We completed a job 3/21/2024, it is not 8/14/2025 (yes almost TWO years) later and we have STILL not been paid!! This company is a sickening scam. When we were finally able to contact someone they give us the run around responding every couple months with another paperwork “item” they need in order to make payment. PAY YOUR VENDORS!!!!
