Remington Station

After a pipe bursted behind the walls. We came home to the laundry room, kitchen, upstairs bedroom, and dining room floors soaking wet. It smelled terrible. The neighbors ceiling had also fell onto the floor. They have torn up the flooring and bottom edges of the walls and we have been waiting for 4 weeks for them to fix it but nothing has changed. They are making all of us pay (even the guy who’s ceiling was on the floor) for the full month’s rent even though we couldn’t live there because of the smell and torn up floors/walls. Their excuse was they didn’t tell us we didn’t have to live there so it’s not on them that we didn’t. Inexcusable. If I could give negative stars I would. I’ve been here for almost 2 years and Amy has been so great even before I moved in. Since then, she has made sure to take care of any need I might have and do so in a timely fashion. It’s a quiet neighborhood, clean, and so close to town. It’s one of my favorite apartments, so far.

Lived here for two years. There are pros and cons to every renting situation. Remington Station is a nice place to live in general, and the location is convenient being close to the Strip, and to Belden, although the intersection of Quail Hill and Frank can be a pain, depending on what time you are commuting. Rent rates are higher than if you lived on the other side of 77, being adjacent to a university will do that. Our rent went up yearly, from $855 (with pet rent) to $955, year 1 to year 2. It'll depend on the exact unit your rent, but expect it to go up yearly. Mindy is an excellent landlady, extremely helpful, flexible and understanding to resident needs, handles complaints and maintenance issues efficiently and professionally, and Randy is an excellent maintenance manager. Living there for over 3 years, The place is really nice, the people in the office are up to date, definitely worth the money.
