TLDR: 1st and foremost, we are very pleased with our custom-built home by Old World Custom Homes (OWC). After living in it for over a year, our appreciation has only grown. With that time behind us, we wanted to share an honest review to help others in their decision-making. We signed our contract in Fall 2023, and construction began in January 2024. The build took about eight months — which seemed long at the time but was very efficient overall. We selected one of their standard layouts and heavily customized it. From day one through completion, the entire team was on top of every detail and incredibly flexible throughout the process. Dave, our project manager, went above and beyond. I got to know him on a personal level, and he was hands-down the best part of the entire build—communicative, trustworthy, and truly invested in making sure everything was done right. I just completed the process of building my home with OWC on 12/19/2024, however have not moved in yet. This review is about the building process. I have to say that Jim, Cindy, Lisa , Dave, and Nick all had a role in the process. Building a home can be exciting but also stressful and time consuming. They all played a role in making the process easier for me. When I had questions they tried their best to get back to me in a timely manner and 99.9% of them time they did. Dave, my Project Manager, was out at the house daily and kept me in the loop with texts, phone calls & pictures that he loaded to the Builder Trend App. This is not my first time building a custom home but I do believe this company has high standards and they truly care about the quality of their work. Only time will
