Puerta del Sol

I've lived in Puerta for three years as a UCI student, and I'm super satisfied with the way the employees handle problems that arise. I would like to give a special shoutout to the bestest receptionist ever, Elijah Espinoza! Whenever I have questions about payments, work orders, and college life, Elijah is consistently willing and happy to assist. Elijah always goes above and beyond for the students, and the Puerta del Sol team is so incredibly lucky to have such an inviting and caring front face to the student and parent community here at UCI. He is amazing!

The staff created a very welcoming environment. The food was delicious and Kylie did an amazing job preparing for the event.

I lived in Puerta Del Sol for 2 years, and even though it was tough to deal with some things here and there, what made it more livable was my CA Hailey, who was was super nice and supportive and actually gave me genuine advice on living as an adult.

Puerta is nice since it is a convenient walk from the apartments to the bus stops, Albertsons, etc. However, there are fire alarms that go off nonstop within the buildings. They have given us a heads up that a fire alarm will go off all day between 8-5pm which is not helpful at all (this sort of message has been sent out within the past two months). This issue makes me upset as someone who has had an overall decent experience living here.

The programs they hold for the residents are always so fun. I recently went to a program called "Donut Stress" with Anita and Kaitlyn and they were so welcoming and made the event really enjoyable!
