Run, dont walk, away from Hunter Lafayette Properties I only could complete a 1 year lease at Prospect Hill due to unlivable conditions. Every review you see mentioning the unethical hidden fees are true!! The management are unprofessional and profiteering off of their tenants, especially during move out processes. You simply do not matter to them as a human being. No shocker there. If you need questions answered in writing, it will take a lot to get Zach Robinson to answer them. He disregards any tenant needs and is the most unprofessional and provoking leasing agent I have ever had disdain to meet, and that is saying a lot. The management is truly a joke. Strongly do not recommend. This rental property is basically fine until you move out and then they show their true colors. I have lived in numerous apartments over the years and never been treated so unfairly regarding a security deposit. My situation is very similar to several other residents who have been slammed with unjustified, large fees upon move out. For example, I was just charged, among other things, a $130 late move out fee. This fee was applied despite the leasing office telling me the wrong date and time I had to be out by, although they refuse to take ownership. There are plenty of nice places to live in Lafayette that don't treat their residents like trash. Free heating. Huge apartments for the money. There is a clubhouse, fitness center, and pool available. Close to downtown. Unfortunate that I had to move out of town. The maintenance and office staff always took very good care of us. We didn’t have any charges after move out other than normal carpet cleaning as expected when I moved in.

These jokers do not take tenant complaints seriously! Many issues with little to no response from management. Such a shame because the apartments are in a great location but the lack of care/responsibility on management’s end will absolutely ruin this for you!

The people in this complex are very nice and neighborly. It is a very comfortable living space for a family of three. The courtyard is quite big and is nice for kids to play in.
