Hawthorne Properties

I have lived there for 6 years and it has been under the same management since I have been there. Great view from the north side of the building. Low key neighbors. Near a lot of shopping and White Castle. The office and maintenance staff are great. Any problems was fixed in a timely manner. Going to miss living here, but It’s time to move on to my next chapter in life.

My spouse and I have lived at Hawthorne for over three years and love it. We even suggested it to my sister and her family and they are going on their second year in the duplexes. The management team and maintenance team are both so kind, helpful, and handle everything as fast as possible. I trust them to come into my home which is a big deal for me. We have a spacious two bedroom with in-unit laundry. From what we've seen and heard from friends, the cost is below the average for the area. We have never had a major rent increase from year to year. The neighborhood is quiet and we feel very safe. They also have a really great pool that they take lots of care in maintaining. That's not as important as the respect we get and the safety we feel but it is a really big bonus!

We have lived here 11 years and love it! Safe community! The apartments are spacious, as are the bedrooms. My only complaint is the limited counter/cabinet space in the kitchen. Maintenance is top notch! Very friendly, respectful and responsive to issues. Pet friendly. We have a beautiful club house, exercise area and the pool is fantastic. Close to both hospitals and all the restaurants on 26! i think you’ll love it here!

Hawthorne Properties is a top notch apartment complex for those looking in the Lafayette area. I have lived here for about 4 years and continue to be impressed with the customer service of the incredible staff. Desiree is genuinely kind, always happy to help and takes care of issues immediately. The communication is proactive and comprehensive with any updates on amenities or parking lot. Whenever I have a maintenance issue, whether air conditioning does work on a summer day, it is resolved immediately. I feel very taken care of at this complex, knowing I'm heard and feeling very safe. In each unit is a lot of storage space and in-unit laundry! Love living at Hawthorne Properties! The Leasing Office is so kind and considerate, always willing to help. Maintenance is friendly, and the environment family-friendly as well. I know some apartments have concerns, but to be honest, I personally haven't experienced anything that would make me want to leave. I would definitely recommend living here.
