Professional Home Inspection Service

We used this company since it was referred to by our realtor. Highly recommend looking elsewhere. We showed up one hour after the inspection was scheduled to begin only to find that the inspector had already left. No adequate home inspection, no matter the size of the home, should take under 1 hour. The report was rushed through and felt half done. This was not our first home purchase and the quality was severely lacking compared to prior inspections we had in the past. The real unfortunate part of this was that we communicated our dissatisfaction to the company and they never reached back to us.

We had a radon problem, watched a YouTube video of PHIS services and called them in. George, the owner himself came to inspect and make recommendations. He was knowledgeable, well-spoken and reassuring. We took his advice and made arrangements to have their radon mitigation system installed. We cannot be more pleased. The installers were thorough, quick and very helpful. Stacy, at the office, was a pleasure to work with. We had a radon problem....now we don't!

We went with Professional Home Inspection Service for a post-purchase inspection after completing some work on the home. Stacey did the organizing behind all of our appointments and payments. Eric provided not only a report but additional guidance on individual issues that came up and helped us prioritize items based on safety concerns. One item he encouraged based on our location was a radon test, which ended up finding that we were above the recommended limits. We stayed with PHIS for the remediation process which George completed the quote for and Jeff did the remediation for. The sound of the radon fan was a bit louder than expected and we received quick support from the team to resolve that. Excellent experience! We had high radon readings. We called three local contractors. George with PHI came out immediately with a clear estimate and plan. Bonnie provided it in print shortly after. The cost was comparable to other local options, but with guarantees that others didn't offer. The work crew arrived on time, was respectful and fast. I worked in construction for a few years and can confirm these guys knew what they were doing. Within 24 hours, my readings dropped over 95%, way below recommended levels. Weeks later, they are remaining consistently low. I can not recommend Professional Home Inspection highly enough. 4-YEAR UPDATE: Radon readings still far below previous readings and just a fraction of levels that cause concern. System is working flawlessly.

We hired Professional Inspection Services to do a pre sale foundation inspection for us. Eric came by on time, actually a bit early and with a good attitude. He knew what he was talking about, and did a thorough inspection. Overall, it Was a positive experience during a stressful time.
