Preferred Mortgage

I went through this company to get my home. Although everything went through, it was a roller coaster ride and it was like pulling teeth to get someone to answer the phone or call you back. I honestly was praying that everything was in order on the way to closing because because I couldn't reach anybody from his office to confirm. My son also bought a home through Dan and had a much worse experience. Similar roller coaster ride, only difference was that his closing didn't go well with this lender. Same thing on closing day, communication was a no-go with these people. My son gets to closing, (his first home), has the money that he was told that he needed for closing and bam, gets blind sided saying that he needed another almost $500. Run from this business.to many members to confuse you .never returns calls or just e mails you .family run and very confusing business

I would not recommend. Lack in communication to their client, realtors, or title company. No urgency to close. Their fees were double what other lender fees were. We decided to use another mortgage lender a week before closing because they would not work with us on their fees, lack in communication, and misinformation given throughout the 3 weeks we worked with them. Our new mortgage lender was able to close our loan in 2 weeks with all information that had been provided to Preferred Mortgage and we saved about $5000 out of our pocket with the switch.

To start off, their email doesn't work to send (important) documents and messages to both buyers. They don't try alternate methods/emails to fix it. They don't answer their phones or return voicemails. 100% terrible communication. I would never recommend this facility for anything to anyone. If you look through their reviews, the workers post 5 star reviews... If that's not a good hint in it's own, I don't know what is. I wish they weren't suggested by my realtor.

The individual I worked with during the process of getting a mortgage was outstanding. Not only was he very informative of the types of mortgages that are offered but he was also very quick with getting back to me. I would recommend this company to anyone of my friends that are in the market for a new home.
