If there was 0 stars i would give them less. I've had the unfortunate nightmare of dealing with this company and I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. After taking 4 times longer then they said it would to build, after taking 2 years to get "most" issues corrected, after taking 3 years to get the yard to grow because they have landscapers that don't know how to prep the ground for sod we come home to my side yard dug up with no notice or explanation. Apparently my neighbor was having flooding issues so they were putting in a swell. This was spring time, after our yard being tore up our basement flooded. Here we are in November, yard still tore up, basement insulation still tore off, and nothing but excuses as to why it's not fixed yet BUT our neighbors yard has nice new sod on it and they

We used Potterhill Homes and had a house built in the Mills of Miami subdivision. We love the house and the community. The down side has been warranty work in the first year. We had a valve that kept leaking and it was difficult to get someone called out to fix it. After 2 failed attempts to correct the problem, I ended up calling my own plumber to fix it for good. One of the neighbors summed up Potterhill the best when she said "they're not the best, but they're not the worst. Updating rating because issues were fixed with home. Still love the house and community but would still like that 5 star rating to be achieved. Updating review - walking trails were advertised and were in place when we started building. By the time we moved in, the walking trails were closed and access is complete

This review is based on buying a 3 yr old build Potterhill Home. We bought our house in the Pond Creek Sub just outside of Alexandria, KY. Our house is rare as it was just built on a slab. I have a 3 Star not because of how we bought it, but how we’re seeing the house after it’s had some time to settle and be broken in. We had our house inspected prior to being bought by a respected inspector. The drywall nails are popping out all over the place! It’s not just in one section of the house, it’s in every room. The door are starting to not close all the way in some rooms/halls. Some of the wiring was put in wrong as some of our switches aren’t even for the intended appliance or room. One switch stops the switch down stairs from even turning on! Our slab already has a good sized crack in it we

Unfortunately, this builder does not - and will not - stand behind their product. A laundry list of issues were outstanding to be fixed on my home and were documented at the time of closing, in November 2017. To date, the vast majority of these have not been addressed. Approximately 5 months ago, my basement was completely flooded due to improper installation of the basement windows. The foundation was not sealed around the window frames, leaving holes where water could run in. Additionally, the windows did not even fit the actual frames themselves, and instead of being mounted via the two pre-drilled holes on each side, were screwed in via the center of each side of the frame, causing both to warp out of shape. I lost over $1,000 worth of items due to the water intrusion, and Potter

Buyer beware! We've been in our Potterhill home for just over a month. Many issues here. Too many to list except for the biggest issue. Sewer backup due to mud and stone in sewer line. 1 week and still no water, no bathroom, no cooking. All they can say when I call is that it's out of their hands, that it's the developer's fault. We, the buyers, are the only ones inconvenienced. They don't care. They got their money.
