Portside Ventura Harbor

Portside Harbor is a beautiful addition to Ventura. Autumn is the first employee of Portside that I met. She was so warm and welcoming.

Been here about a year. Autumn was the first person I met and she went out of her way to make my move-in smooth and seamless. She was super helpful despite my 10+ phone calls in like 3 days. Since being here, autumn and all the staff have been super cool (shout out to Troy, Charmaine (sp), and the maintenance guys). The events the staff put on each month are cool as well.

After two years I finally decided I’ve lived here long enough to review it. I love it. I love the people that live here and the people that work here. Autumn and Clay are fantastic, always available and have always been pleasant. When I lost my dog, Autumn made a Community post for me. When they had a leak in our apartment clay did everything to make it right. These are the kind of people who fight for their residents. Also, the amenities are fabulous, and I love the monthly Marketplaces, And parties we have here.

I cannot recommend this apartment due to serious safety concerns, unresolved security issues, and an unacceptable lack of accountability from management. As of today, I still have not received any meaningful response to my emails or concerns. I am extremely angry about the situation management created and how they have handled it. Their continued silence and lack of follow-up is unacceptable. 1) Repeated water backflow during heavy rain (habitability issue). During heavy rain, water backed up into the apartment—not a minor leak, but a backflow event that caused damage and made the unit unsafe and unlivable. 2) Slow and poorly coordinated maintenance/repairs. Maintenance response was extremely slow and showed no urgency. I was forced to move out and stay elsewhere for more than two weeks

I had a very good experience with the leasing office on Tuesday, January 7, 2026. I came in with numerous questions and was assisted by Autumn Wessal, Leasing Consultant and Clay Brown, Assistant Manager. Mr. Clay Brown took the time to sit down with me and carefully go through each of my concerns. I didn’t feel rushed, and every question I had he helped answer. What also stood out was at the end of our meeting, he said, if I had any additional questions, I could email, call or set up an appointment, and he would be happy to sit down with me again. I truly appreciated the patience, professionalism, and willingness to help.
