Portico at Friars Creek Apartments

We absolutely love it here. The staff is amazing and very attentive. The community of people are so nice. The apt hosts events and pays attention to details. Our dog loves it here, too! The apartments are spacious and quiet. Because of the quality of people living here and the police presence, I always feel safe. Would recommend!!

Read the fine print. They want as much money from you as possible. All in you're looking at $1400/month + HOA type harassment. If I wanted to live somewhere like that, I'd move in a house. They're very inconsistent. Random people not from the complex regularly use the pool. We have broken down vehicles not getting towed. Wasps nests EVERYWHERE. Dog poop EVERYWHERE. Our dishwasher was moldy when we moved in. There's absolutely no security, either. Anyone can drive right on in. There's also a lot of package theft. I guess you can't put a bow tie on a pig!

Highly not a recommendation for a family with children, if you do decide to move in with children make sure you get an apartment on the bottom floor. Noise complaints will come in for day to day routines, examples like vacuuming, doing your laundry, or moving around your apartment. You literally have to tip toe around your apartment to avoid noise complaints from neighbors. When there are neighbors that smoke marijuana throughout the apartments but nothing gets done about that. Year round you have birds nest and bird poop at your front door, which management does nothing about. We had several car break ins due to the security gates being broken down. The office management workers have a very snobby attitude and rude demeanor. One of my biggest regrets was leasing with Portico Apartments on

Renewal made easy!! This past year has been exceptional here at Portico. After an exhaustive search for a new home, I chose Portico in large part because of the management team because of their professionalism and tenure. That stability was important to me. I also love the trees, courtyard/pool, and professional landscaping. It’s evident Alex and her team take pride in ensuring that the property is well maintained and offer many opportunities for residents to connect. It was an easy decision to renew my lease.

Excellent management!, "Customers First" is more than a Sales/Promotional phrase. They believe it and live it! Maintenance personnel are knowledgeable, professional and focused. They are concerned about how their work affects you, not just getting the job completed.
