Portage Park Apartments

During my visit to to a tour of this place. One of the tenants. She was a old white lady, black Nissan truck, outside of 3559. Tells my boyfriend we were in her “parking spot” and this is residential parking. Mind you there was no sign present there was residential parking. We were in the spot for 2 min. And she made a huge fuss about it, asking questions about what unit I’m looking at… she was very off putting and almost felt racist. It made me feel very unsafe and uncomfortable. She was standing in the hallway listening to the leasing agent speak with me regarding the unit I was viewing. I have never dealt with that in my life and I certainly will not live in an environment that I work hard to pay for ruined over someone disgusting like her. Bad place to live. Slow maintenance. People at the office ignore you're calls and also don't return you're calls. There rules on what kind of pets you can have are moronic. I do not recommend this place at all.

I Live by there. Great up keep and beautiful apartments. Super close to route 6.

Owners very rude & never return phone calls concerning deposits & keys for move in. Tenants very loud & ghetto.
