Lake Pointe Apartment Homes

Went to look at the apartments I was shocked at the condition of the property. The buildings are advertised as “luxury,” but the exterior was filthy, dirty, covered in green buildup, and clearly not power-washed or maintained. These units are extremely expensive, so it’s concerning to see such basic upkeep being ignored. If this is how they care for the outside, it makes me question the quality and maintenance of the interiors as well. We just left, did not even go inside, it left a really disappointing and unprofessional impression.

Not worth the price. Would not recommend. I recently moved out of this one-bedroom apartment and wanted to share my experience. While the apartment itself was spacious and the neighbors were very pleasant, I truly believe it was overpriced for what we were getting. When we moved in, the unit was not fully cleaned. There was thick lint buildup in the laundry filter, which is a fire hazard. Underneath the kitchen cabinets and beneath the microwave were a dirty mess, like they hadn’t been touched in a long time. The ice in the freezer was overflowing and appeared melted together, and the freezer was not working properly—we had to have maintenance come out that same day to fix it. On top of that, there was visible smoke damage on the appliances. The walls had clearly been painted over poorly

The pictures are from today, but I have previous pictures and maintenance request in my phone of the same issue. I’ve lived here for a few years, but moved in August from the front side lake/water to a building in the back of the complex. Yes, I’ve heard of field mice, but as a previous homeowner and renter at other complexes, I have never had issues with mice my entire lifetime. The new lease charges a monthly Pest fee, I don’t know what is for because when I reported it the first time to maintenance (October), they came to check my apartment and denied that there was a problem with mice when clearly I have it in front of me-on top of now reading other tenants reviews I totally believe the reviews. Lake Pointe does not do the maintenance and upkeep on heating and cooling as it should rath

I’ve been here for almost four months. I love my apartment and feel safe. I had a problem with my water heater. The new maintenance manager personally answered the call at 8:00 pm. He was polite and made sure I had a new water heater the next day. I spend a lot of time on my back patio, enjoying the beautiful lake. I’m always entertained by the wildlife that inhabits the lake. I plan on being here for a while. A quick shoutout to Melissa in the front office! She made sure I had a newly renovated apartment and was able to arrange an early move in date for me. Keep up the good work!

I stayed in Lake Pointe for a year. I had an exceptional living experience. The apartment unit was well-lit, very spacious, two balconies, one with the lake view. The office staff as well as maintenance staff were very well behaved, professional and thoroughly responsive. I had to move out due to personal reasons, but very much enjoyed my stay at the apartment.
