About 15 years ago, we saw one of the homes built by Paulson Construction on the Parade of Homes and we were very impressed. At the time, we were not looking to move. When we were looking to build a new home in 2020, we contacted them. Doug immediately contacted us and we met with him at the model that was under construction. We fell in love with the home, and opted to purchase the model. Doug and his team outlined all of the decisions we needed to make — flooring, paint, cabinets, granite, hardware, etc., and worked with us to customize the model to our desires. We had been searching for a few years looking for one level living. In May of 2020 upon searching the cancelled (because of Covid) parade of homes website we happened upon Glencove. The location of the property was in an area we were looking for and contacted Doug Paulson. We were able to visit an existing home on the Glencove properties and were thoroughly impressed. We purchased the lot in July, 2020, and the process began. Information was given on the suppliers of product we would choose and the allotted amount of money that was covered in the contract. During this time of Covid we met with the subcontractors and the suppliers of the material that we would want to finish our dream retirement home.
