New American Funding - Coon Rapids

Pass on this place. I specifically chose a mortgage broker instead of a loan officer because brokers are supposed to have access to multiple lenders and can shop around for the best options. Unfortunately, my broker only went with New American Funding, which completely defeated the purpose. Communication was extremely poor throughout the entire process. In the beginning, the broker “love bombs” you with promises but provides very few real answers. We never received a clear explanation of what the current interest rate actually was or what we were truly approved for. This created confusion between my realtor and me because we didn’t have accurate numbers to work with. Bob was great to work with for the process of buying my home but talking to a customer service representative as they service my loan is the worst. They have no knowledge about mortgage give me and my partner wrong information every single time! and report our credit incorrectly. Every time I called and talk to a customer representative it is ALWAYS frustrating. Don’t recommend this company as a mortgage servicer.

Sandy (and Peggy) were an amazing team to work with! Very good and prompt communication. Extremely knowledgeable... and if they didn't know the answer, they researched it. (I had many oddball questions since our situation wasn't a typical one.) I cannot recommend Sandy enough! She truly made us feel like family and made our transition as seamless as possible. It's nice to have the "small town business" feel these days. Will I go through Sandy again if I need these services again? Absolutely! I couldn't be happier with our experience.

Bob Haft from New American Funding is a pro at what he does. Bob and his team were able to set up our financing after we had issues with our previous lender. They even did it in month's time! The New American Funding people are awesome communicators, amazing educators and are also super polite! I highly recommend Bob Haft and New American Funding for anyone in any situation.
