Parkwood Apartments

New owners are horrible!!! Use to be a nice place to live especially for those on low/fixed income, such as the elderly. The new owners raised the prices, refused previous discounts to seniors, nickel and dime you at every turn. I have a feeling many ppl will simple move or be unable to afford, a once affordable property. This has always been a great community for you to have your parents live, as it’s well maintained. The old management was amazing. So sad to see the new management ruin such a good community.

Living in these apartments is truly amazing—the atmosphere feels welcoming and full of positive energy from the moment you walk in. Everything is exceptionally clean and well maintained, which makes the whole place feel comfortable and stress-free. The environment is calm, friendly, and uplifting, and it’s clear that a lot of care goes into keeping everything running smoothly. Evelyn and Patrick help so much and are always kind, supportive, and attentive, which makes a huge difference and really adds to the overall experience. Their positive energy, combined with how clean and well-kept everything is, makes this an incredible place to live.

I live in Houston & love to fish, I was tired of driving back & forth so I leased an apartment in March 2025 to be able to have a place to go to on the weekends & it has been a great experience! From the staff to my neighbors, everyone is awesome! This complex is a hidden gem to say the least. The Maintenance team is also incredible. If you need a place to live in Texas City, do not look anywhere but here! I’m so happy to be a part of the Parkwood community!

$32 service fee to pay my rent the same way i always have is AMAZING! having to pay monthly for my cat, then pay for an ADDITIONAL service i will NEVER use is AMAZING!

I came to Parkwood and discovered a true diamond in the rough. Driving by, it doesn't look "flashy", not something that would catch the eye of someone looking for luxury apartments, for example. But if you're looking for a new apartment home in Texas City, passing this place up might be your worst mistake. I have lived in many apartments, including high-rise luxuries, and none of them compare to the service and attention you receive here. The grounds are very well kept, services such as the laundry room are kept clean and in working order, the pools are clean and available, everything down to the mailboxes and dumpsters are always maintained. Parkwood is privately owned and not part of a corporation. Management is extremely responsive and I have never seen maintenance faster and more quali
