Parkside Apartments At North Colonie

Grounds keeping is excellent. Laundry facility is nice, but several machines always have errors. Along with that disrespectful tenants who do not clean machines of dog hair, etc make it lackluster. Rubbish removal is well equipped. That is 4 stars Non-Smoking policy is nice but not with grandfathered tenants who make entire next apartment smell, causing health related issues. Addressed with office as in also in need of a two bedroom, downstairs apartment for my disabled husband. Waiting to hear if availability. The smoke smell is horrendous from my neighbor which has caused lost time at work and dr trips for me. How does this get resolved? My other maintenance requests have been satisfied quickly

Lived here for 2 years now and it's on the cheaper side as I moved in before the company underwent new management. However it has been smooth sailing so far. There were only minor issues with mold in the bathroom but they went ahead and fixed it so there's no complaints there. And my neighbors are quiet and no one really bothers you. My only gripe is that the floors are made of wood so they creak and bend quite alot. And the maintenance department sometimes takes an longer than promised to attend to fixing things in the apartment in a timely manner. However overall my experience has been fine with them so far. Which is why I gave it four stars.

The Senior property manager, Joe, is very helpful. He ALWAYS resolves all of my issues promptly and satisfactorily, and he is very nice as well. The only things I can really complain about at Parkside at North Colonie Living lately is how the office is closed on weekends, so I cannot retrieve my packages, and the lack of snow removal this past weekend. Usually they are on top of that stuff here at the property, I’m not sure why nobody came through for snow removal during last weekends storm.

I have lived here for three years. The prior owners weren’t the best but got more done than the current owners do. The current owners do not care about their tenants one bit. There is no way to reach them directly or the office on the premises. You have to physically drive down there to be able to speak to someone and even then you don’t get an answer. They are more focused on bringing in new tenants, charging a couple extra hundred dollars for one item to be upgraded in your apartment, to say they have amenities included and then you have to pay an arm and a leg to use them, you put in a maintenance request and nothing gets done for days, you have to go to the office constantly to talk to someone. DOCUMENT EVERYTHING. I'm only giving any stars because they don't give you an issue about your dogs and both times I've had a maintenance problem is has been solved in a timely manner. I have lived here over a year now and everything was pretty good until I got hit with a bill over one thousand dollars of late fees. They did not have my correct email for their portal system so I wasn't getting any type of notifications about any fees or bills. (but I was receiving emails about snow removal, office closing, pool hours etc.) They waited a whole year to contact me by text to pay my late fees or they would be getting legal involved.
