I understand times are tough in this economy but please listen carefully, if you can help it, then STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!! I wish i could give ZERO stars. The new management (Eagle Rock) is just as bad if not worse than previous owners. These apartments are heavily infested with rats on top of endless issues with HVAC system, Mold, and other amenities like dirty washer and dryers that would always break down and not work but the machines would still deduct money from your card. No matter how many times you complain to the The leasing office or maintenance, THEY WILL NOT CARE! Always rude and never following up with any updates. not to mention THE APARTMENTS ARE INFESTED WITH RATS!!!! They just want your money and will keep increasing your rent and decreasing the quality of living until

DO NOT MOVE HERE. I would give 0 stars if I could. The hallways stink extremely bad, you gag going up the stairs. The closet doors fall off the track easily. My biggest pet peeve has been the water. Ever since the new management company has taken over the hot water does not work. At times the water is shut off without notice. The water pressure is also extremely low. Taking a shower is like bathing in a leaky faucet. We have had to call multiple times to put in maitenance requests for the hot water not working because they say it’s resolved but it is still not fixed. Now, we have to turn the faucet all the way over to get warm temperature (at times luke warm or just cold) and 1/4th of what the water pressure used to be. I couldn't be more pleased with every aspect of this place. The staff were all friendly and very easy to work with. They provided every bit of information I requested and worked with me through the entire process of applying, signing the lease, and setting up the move in. The complex is lovely with plenty of landscaped space to walk my dogs and adjacent to a nice little lake. The apartment is spacious and comfortable. The whole area is kept clean and makes for a warm and inviting atmosphere.

I lived at Lake Shore Apartments for 16 years—the longest I’ve lived anywhere. Initially, we moved there because it was affordable living in a nice location. Unfortunately, the way things ended under new management was disappointing and distressing. Here's my experience: MOISTURE & MOLD The building always felt damp and smelled like mildew. The basement below us was often a swamp, and even with a dehumidifier, mold constantly returned in the bathroom. Major leaks happened nearly every other year. Despite multiple maintenance requests, most were ignored. Water stains were never properly repaired. The worst flood happened weeks before we moved—some of our belongings were damaged, and we had to pay out of pocket to clean the carpet. PESTS There were ongoing issues with mice, bugs, and squir

I rented lakeshore apartments for three years . Our last year there we were under new owners (Eagle Rock) . They are horrible communicators. They would shut off water with out notice, they decided to paint the hallways without notice . The guys painting didn’t care if you were walking in the hallway they kept spraying with no ventulation. They are molding without actually taking care of problems just slap some new paint on it . The maintenance team is no longer 24 hours any emergency they will get to in there 8-4 work day . I called once at 6 am for a water leak with the sound of rushing water coming down the walls into the basement the maintenance person came at 9 am and I directed it to them and she basically said that’s not my job and walked out until the sr guy came in 10.
