Park Village Apartments

Would not recommend this place. The people in the office don’t not do a very good job on communication with their tenants. They have been screwing me over in situations I have no control over. I don’t feel safe or don’t feel at home here. Look else where while you can.

Maintenance came quickly to fix our garbage disposal, but our main issue has been the neighbors below us. Unnecessary loud and very profane music. Our very first night we were here, the profane music was so loud that it shook our floor, and they started playing videos with gunshots. We called the non emergency police about 10 times since being here in October, to resolve the problem and the tenants won't be respectful enough to turn it down at an appropriate time of night. It always begins around midnight and goes till early morning. We've tried getting in contact with the office, and the office wouldn't respond till my husband sent them a message.

I've been renting at Park Village for several years now. The community is friendly and the atmosphere is park-like. Weather permitting, I frequently see people or groups using the picnic tables and built-in grills in the courtyard. I recognize many of the people in my building and we usually wave or say hello. It feels comfortable in a way that most apartment complexes don't; I guess that's what I'm trying to say. It's an older complex, but there were partial renovations made to the unit before I moved in (a breakfast bar was added and a tongue-and-groove floor put in the kitchen and bathroom), which was nice. Staying at Park Village was a great decision! I was only planning on staying 1 year then switching things up, but have renewed my lease to stay another year because it’s been great! The staff are incredibly accommodating and friendly, property is well maintained with a beautiful green space in the summer that really makes it feel like a community, and the complex has a great heated pool. Easy online portal for maintenance requests, towing can be strict if you don’t follow parking rules but that shows the staff cares about safety of residents. If you don’t want your vehicle(s) stolen and expect to get your security deposit back, I would highly recommend not living here. It may be affordable, but I had rats running around in my ceiling that maintenance would not fix saying that it was “normal.” I had my moped stolen (as well as at least 4 others) over a short time period and there was no evidence for who took them given half of Park village’s security cameras didn’t even work. And the ones that did were of such low quality and bad positioning it made no difference. Also let my place miles cleaner than when I moved in (seemed like it was never cleaned originally), but lost my entire security deposit due to a small stain on the carpet that was the smaller than the size of your hand and was there previously.
