Park at Cross Creek

I’ve been staying here for almost a year and I have had no issues. If I did, they were all addressed in a timely manner! The property manager has been running 2 properties (in Monroe) for quite some time and has done their best to keep this property afloat!

My family and I are new residents of Gastonia and we are currently looking for residency … we drove an hour out to this complex and the leasing office door was locked .. we were told by landscapers that the women went on break .. we left for 2 hours then returned the door was still locked .. no one answers the phones here at all !! We are consistently getting messages about an available unit through text messages but when we call NO ONE ANSWERS !! We are NOT WASTING ANYMORE TIME WITH THIS PLACE .. very unprofessional If I could give this place a 0 I would

This happened months ago however I ran into the manager yesterday at a nail salon in Charlotte and it reminded of the experience I shared with her at Park at Cross Creek. She tried not to make eye contact w/ me however I made sure to say hello and be respectful as mature responsible adults should do. -The apartment I was shown did not match what is being shown online. -The paint job of the apt they were going to put me in was very sloppily done. -Behind the jacks were traces of roaches. Of course the manager told me that it wasn't and they would paint over it and make sure it was taken care of. I lived in the slums of the Bronx for most of my life, I know what traces of roaches look like. -I requested my deposit back prior to moving in b/c I changed my mind after viewing the actual apart

The office personnel have clearly never been trained in customer service. I went to inquire about renting and I received a basic run down on requirements in less than 5 minutes. The lady seemed to not want to be bothered or was obviously upset about something else already. I wasn’t shown an apartment and the response I got for the questions I asked were simply shoulder shrugs. The apartments seemed ok but the lady in the front office definitely isn’t the right representation for the community.

Great area, I look at Park at Cross Creek as the middle of everything you can get to surrounding areas in minutes. Peaceful neighborhood,very kid friendly. Upkeep on these apartment lacks the most to the point where I hate living here because there is no point of having maintenance if they don't fix issues. AND PLEASE READ YOUR LEASE because if i would've read the lease before I would have not lived here.
