Paradise Plaza Townhomes

My partner and I put down a deposit for unit plus the application fee three months ago and not once did we ever hear a call back for anything the only time we got in contact with them is if we called them ourselves. We put down a total of $370, 300 for deposit and 70 for our applications fee, but we are only getting 250 back from our deposit and have never even received it. We never got the chance to even stay here because it was always something else that had to happen for us to be able to move in. The rental property manager is terrible doesn’t communicate at all. I would highly recommend never even trying to move here and they should tear down the whole complex and rebuild it under a new company and new management

I paid for a background check and application to move in here 30 days in advance in September of 2023. I called and called and was told it would take 2 weeks. Never heard back. It was only $35 but jeez what kind of business is just stealing money and never letting people know anything. I found a house after thankfully but I'm not sure what "new management" they are referring to because I've called and only one person ever answers the phone and she always gave the same answer. I work and have worked for the same job had proof of income no issues or criminal history so I know there weren't any issues but they allowed people to move in here that were evicted not even a 6 months later. Do better

My mom currently signed a lease with Paradise Plaza June 6th, 2024. Upon trying to move into the apartment we was greeted with 20-30 roaches coming out of the freezer, out of the cabinets, climbing the walls and ceilings of the kitchen, in the living room also upstairs in the bedrooms. She reached out to Erica Meadows who works in the office about what was going on she stated when she did a walk through previously she didn't see any but she would have the maintenance guys spray BEFORE she brung any of my belongings into the place. She rented a U Haul June 7th to start my moving process she was then stopped by the maintenance guys as i pulled in telling us not to go inside because they JUST set bombs off so it would be 3 hours before she could enter to place any of her items inside the hom

Rent went from 750 to 899+utilities (elec, water, internet) *if* you sign a 12 month lease. If you dont its an additional 100 on top of 899. So 1000 a month, plus utilities. After living here for years, we now have to scramble to find a new place to live. Nothing changed about our home, no upgrades, no updated anything. Just a vague letter and now we have a 35% rent increase out of the blue.

If I could I would give no stars. Management is notorious for breaking in to your apartment without notice and is very disrespectful towards tenants. They break in at any time they wish. I'd rather live in a cardboard box then to deal with the headaches that come from replacing what was broken myself and having that come out of my own wallet.
