⚠️ PROSPECTIVE RESIDENTS BEWARE ⚠️ I have lived here for years and the disruptive construction has only gotten worse & worse over time. when you come to tour this property on a Saturday or Sunday you’re not going to witness how awful the noise pollution is from the construction. Living here with this level of noise pollution has been terrible for my mental health. Maybe I would not make a point to go out of my way to post this review had management done the right thing and given current tenants a discount for our troubles. Instead they are charging us full market rates. Plus the leasing company office WILL lie to you about how bad the construction is here. It is truly awful. Pacific Oaks? More like TRASHific Oaks. Shame on you, money grubbing management.

I’ve lived here for almost a decade and used to love it, but it’s gone downhill to the point of being unlivable. Pacific Oaks has been doing a major renovation project for 2 years and gives us almost no notice for huge disruptions to our lives and homes. Just yesterday, we were informed that workers will be in our homes and we will have no kitchen or bathroom access during work hours for an entire WEEK, and we weren’t even given a week’s notice. At the same time we can’t access our own toilets, we will also not have access to our parking spots and will have to walk through an open construction site to get to our cars. Always overflowing trash receptors. Never enough capacity for this size property. Poorly maintained laundry rooms, with washing machines that don’t even run hot. They market this place as “luxury” living and then these are the facilities you get.

This property will rob you of your security deposit. I spent days and days ensuring my unit was left in immaculate condition, the floor was spotless, no furniture was left in the unit, and I only had 3 small nail holes in the walls after hanging 2 pieces of art. The property took $1100 of my security deposit and said they needed $700 to paint the walls and $300 to clean the wooden floors. Please be careful of this scam of a property, I was under the impression after my pre inspection that I would be getting most of my security deposit back and the inspector (Ben) said my unit was in great condition. Denise in Management also told me that I could stay an extra day as long as I left before 9am, she ended up charging me for that extra day. You will most likely lose 80% of your security deposi
