Orchard Ridge by CastleRock Communities

I signed a contract with them on January month in 2021 but still they did not move anything since 4 months. Initially they said by end of October they would complete the construction and later they said its December but again they are saying by end of December update the closing of completion. Their reason is Lumber shortage something like that but their reason is not valid because all other houses which started after my house are completed but only mine is delaying in that community. So i don’t recommend to go with castlerock communities. They also changed the slot which I initially choose. They gave some silly reason. They are very commercially, they just say if i am not ok with the date they handover they would just return my money. They are saying that because they can sell the house f

You can’t change the lender once you sign the contract. Also the in-house lender is very rude and threatening that you will loose earnest money if I asks to match the rate and lock the rate. At the end I gave up my earnest money and didn’t go forward.
